Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Crusher Helper to support crushing operations by cleaning, inspecting, and servicing crushers, screens, conveyors, and related equipment in a quarry setting.

This role emphasizes safety, reliable attendance, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in outdoor industrial conditions. High school diploma or GED is required, with preferred technical training or an associate’s degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in mining, quarrying, or heavy manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in quarry environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all safety requirements and policies.
• Keep conveyors, crushers, screens, catwalks, and work areas free of debris.
• Assist crusher operators with clearing screens and obstructions.
• Support maintenance activities including lubrication and inspections.
• Monitor equipment and report issues promptly; follow lockout/tagout procedures.
