American Cruise Lines is hiring Waiters for the 2026 cruising season to join our shipboard hotel and restaurant team. You will provide outstanding hospitality and serve as a proud representative of our brand, working aboard for up to 28 weeks.

Responsibilities include delivering an elegant dining experience, setting up and breaking down service areas, and assisting with meals and beverage service. Travel, room and board are covered, with bonuses for performance.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Under Federal Law and the Department of Transportation, we are required to pre-employment drug test all shipboard employees which includes testing for Marijuana and other controlled substances.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited on shipboard.
• American Cruise Lines has grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down service areas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour, including setting tables and linens.
• Cater to culinary requests and assist guests by name, escorting to tables and presenting menus.
• Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with garnish and presentation.
• Perform other duties such as greeting guests on embarkation and assisting with evening entertainment when needed.
