Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring Waiters for the 2026 season to work aboard our ships in the hotel and restaurant services. You will deliver hospitality and represent the brand with pride during a 28-week onboard assignment.

Responsibilities include dining service, guest greetings, menu explanations, and coordinating with the galley. This is a temporary, full-time position with meals, lodging, uniforms, and training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required for shipboard employees.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited onboard.
• Grooming standards apply (tattoos/piercings).

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down meals and service areas (breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails).
• Cater to culinary requests and present menus with recommendations.
• Acknowledge guests by name, escort to tables, and explain menus and wines.
• Relay orders to galley and ensure dishes are presented well.
• Perform additional functions such as greeting guests on embarkation and assisting with afternoon teas or evening entertainment.
