Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring Waiters for the 2026 cruising season to work onboard our ships, delivering elegant dining experiences in the hotel and restaurant spaces. This is a temporary, 28-week assignment with pay from $1,000 to $1,400 per week, plus bonuses; travel, room and board, uniforms and training are provided.

Applicants must be at least 18, a U.S. citizen or green card holder, and able to perform essential duties in a dynamic onboard environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• Pre-employment drug test is required; alcohol policy applies.
• Grooming standards include limits on tattoos and piercings.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down meal periods, arrange tables, linens, silverware and glassware.
• Acknowledge guests by name, escort to tables, present menus, and answer questions about menu items.
• Relay orders to galley and serve courses and beverages with proper garnishes.
• May greet guests on embarkation and assist with afternoon tea, snacks, and evening entertainment.
