Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring Waiters for the 2026 cruising season to work aboard our shipboard hotel and restaurant, delivering hospitality and representing our brand.

This temporary 28-week position includes meals, travel and uniform provisions, and opportunities to work across over 50 itineraries spanning 35 states. You will greet guests, serve meals, and assist with events aboard the ship.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required for all shipboard employees, including Marijuana.
• Grooming standards apply; temporary employment up to 28 weeks aboard a vessel.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set-up and break-down dining areas for meals and events; arrange linen, silverware, china and glassware.
• Attend to guests by name, suggest menu items and wines, and answer questions about the menu.
