American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring Waiters for the 2026 cruising season onboard our ships. You’ll work in our shipboard hotel and restaurant providing outstanding hospitality and serving as a proud representative of our brand.

This is a temporary, full-time position for up to 28 weeks. Responsibilities include greeting guests, setting and clearing tables, serving meals and beverages, and assisting with events and entertainment.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug testing for shipboard employees is required.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited while on duty.
• American Cruise Lines grooming standards limit visible tattoos and piercings.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, linen, silverware, china and glassware.
• Cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner.
• Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer questions about items.
• Relay orders to the galley, and serve courses and beverages with care, ensuring items are presented well.
• Greet guests on embarkation, serve afternoon teas and snacks, and assist with evening entertainment when needed.
