Qualifications

• 1–2 years of healthcare/clinical experience preferred.
• CRT certification required.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required; NICU roles may require NRP and STABLE.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory treatments (oxygen, aerosol, chest physiotherapy) per orders.
• Orients patient to treatment modality to ensure cooperation.
• Assesses patients and monitors responses to treatments and pharmacologic interventions.
• Implements physician orders accurately and follows respiratory care procedures.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance for safety and comfort.
• Communicates with healthcare team and leadership for timely information flow.
• Documents all treatments, assessments, and responses clearly and thoroughly.
• Adheres to patient ID protocols, PPE, infection control, and safety standards.
• Administers medications as prescribed with correct delivery and documentation.
• Demonstrates appropriate interventions in emergencies and collaborates with teams to stabilize patients.
• Applies age‑specific care considerations for oxygen therapy across patient populations.
• Performs other duties and maintains regular attendance.
