Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Respiratory Therapist – CRT to deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and pharmacologic respiratory care per physician orders and clinical protocols. You will perform patient assessments, monitor responses to therapy, and implement individualized treatment plans to support respiratory function and recovery, with careful documentation and patient safety at the forefront.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, manage ventilator settings, and uphold infection

Qualifications

• CRT – Certified Respiratory Therapist required.
• BCLS – Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support required.
• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.
• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation required if NICU.
• STABLE – Neonatal Certification required if NICU.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory treatments per physician orders.
• Ventilator management and airway maintenance.
• Conducts patient assessments and monitors therapy responses.
• Documents treatments and patient responses accurately.
• Adheres to infection control and patient identification protocols.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates care with teams.
