Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Respiratory Therapist – CRT to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and pharmacologic respiratory care under physician orders and established protocols.

You will perform patient assessments, monitor responses to therapy, manage ventilator settings, document clearly, and collaborate with the health care team to promote patient safety and recovery. PRN; 12-hour shifts; day or night.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of healthcare or clinical setting experience preferred.
• CRT - Certified Respiratory Therapist required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (STABLE/NRP if NICU work).
• Indiana state-specific requirements for respiratory therapists may apply within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Conducts patient assessments and monitors responses to therapy.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance.
• Provides accurate, thorough documentation of treatments and patient responses.
• Ensures safety, PPE use, and infection control during procedures.
• Collaborates with healthcare team and communicates effectively.
