Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon is seeking a Crowd Control Specialist to ensure a safe, orderly casino environment. You will monitor patrons, de-escalate conflicts, and protect staff and property on a fast-paced casino floor.

The role requires a High School diploma, 5–7 years as a bouncer or similar, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Candidates should be at least 21 and possess strong observation and verbal skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and etiquette in all applicable areas.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in defense of life or property.
• Handle difficult situations including verbal or physical altercations, shootings and theft.
• Escort unruly patrons outside when needed.
• Complete incident reports for incidents and entry/exit events.
• Protect staff and property by maintaining a safe environment.

The ideal candidate must be able to determine what to do quickly before a situation gets out of control and use his/her problem-solving skills to resolve all issues. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: * Maintain orderliness and etiquette in all applicable vicinities.* Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.* Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property.* Face difficult situations, including physical and verbal altercations, shootings and theft.* Escort unruly patrons outside of establishment when needed.* Use problem-solving skills to handle disagreements and/or to resolve any problematic issues.* Determined when situations warranted police intervention and cooperated with officers upon their arrival.* Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.* Complete an incident report for any verbal or physical altercations, entry or attempted entry of terminated staff or unwelcome guests, accidents/injuries, or other.* Other duties as assigned. Work Environment: * Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.* Must be willing to work nights and weekends.* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk around the property. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
