Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree in business, technology, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Requires five to ten years general experience, five to ten years specialized experience including project / program management, PMO leadership, or technology delivery in banking or financial services.
• Strong experience managing vendor-based implementations (SaaS, core systems, fintech solutions).
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all phases of the project lifecycle including Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Closing in accordance with project management standards.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, including requirements definition, technology evaluation and due diligence, solution architecture and design, and execution of implementations, integrations, and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, IT, and vendor capabilities.
• Track and report progress against plan, proactively addressing risks and delays.
• Establish and enforce Project Management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices aligned with PMBOK standards.
• Create standardized templates for project plans, status reporting, risk/issue logs, and dependency tracking.
• Drive governance cadence, including weekly status, steering committee, and executive updates.
• Maintain centralized portfolio visibility across all initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management standards, tools templates, and reporting practices.
