Job summary

Proper Beverage Company, a locally owned beverage producer, seeks a Production Floater to support multiple production areas and maintain efficiency. This role is cross-trained to cover absences, balance workloads, and assist with bottlenecks to ensure smooth, continuous production.

This full-time, 2nd shift position runs Monday through Friday from 2pm to 12am, requiring teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to safety and quality standards to support the production team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing or food/beverage production preferred.
• Forklift experience and/or certification preferred.
• Ability to learn multiple production tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible tasks and shifts as needed.
• Understanding of basic safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Remove finished goods from the production line and stack them securely on pallets.
• Ensure accurate labeling, counts, and organization of pallets for storage or shipment.
• Assist with operational support of the Variety Pack line as needed.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Support production flow by filling in during employee absences, high-volume periods, or line slowdowns.
• Monitor and maintain production quality standards in coordination with the Quality Control team.
