Coldspring seeks a Production Floater to operate a variety of stone fabrication machines and support production demands. You will read production tickets, verify quality, and use measuring tools to ensure accuracy across multiple processing steps.

The role requires familiarity with CNC programming, CAD/CAM software, and a mechanical aptitude. This is a full-time, second-shift position with opportunities to cross-train and advance in a safety-conscious team environment.

Qualifications

• General computer skills required.
• Familiar with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read work orders and production tickets.
• Able to read imperial and metric tape measures.
• Strong math and material planning abilities.
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to cross-train.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machines to meet production demands and ensure quality.
• Read production tickets and determine work to be completed.
• Verify tolerances and dimensions using measuring tools.
• Set up, program and operate CNC/milling/turning machines.
• Load programs, patterns, and files from the network.
• Follow safety protocols and work as part of a team.
