Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an organized Operations Project Coordinator to support the Switchgear and Busway product lines at our Anderson, South Carolina facility. This temporary on-site role will provide project coordination and administrative support across the project lifecycle.

You will work with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management to track activities, maintain documentation, and ensure deliverables are met, while learning Vertiv's products and processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in project coordination or related fields.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and levels.
• Comfortable tracking deadlines and deliverables.
• Identify issues and follow through to resolution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems or project management tools is a plus.
• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn Vertiv products, processes, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from order through manufacturing and shipment.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and more.
• Track schedules, milestones, and action items to stay on schedule.
• Follow up with cross-functional teams on tasks, approvals, and deadlines.
• Schedule and lead project meetings with agendas and action items.
• Maintain accurate project documentation within Vertiv and customer systems.
• Coordinate customer submittals and track approvals.
• Support status updates and communications with customers.
• Assist with material planning and scheduling with Supply Chain.
• Monitor activities and identify delays, risks; escalate as needed.
• Support issue resolution for administrative or scheduling problems.
• Prepare project status reports for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain records of milestones, communications, and deliverables.
• Support additional project coordination duties as needed.
