Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an IS Technical Production Coordinator to support the Project Management team with technical input on production changes and issues. You will evaluate escalations, verify parts, and coordinate dispatch while reviewing drawings and coordinating with Engineering.

Role requires knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read schematics, along with strong communication and a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset. On-site support in Pelzer, SC is expected.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; electrical knowledge strongly preferred.
Experience reading and interpreting electrical construction drawings and equipment specifications.
Knowledge of local, state, & federal codes governing low voltage switchboards/switchgear.
Proven ability to think creatively to reduce costs without impacting quality or reliability.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Management with technical input for production changes or issues.
Evaluate customer escalations requiring technical knowledge of the project.
Identify and verify correct parts and coordinate Parts requests.
Document parts requests and coordinate parts dispatch to correct locations.
Review latest project drawings to verify parts requests and ensure accuracy.
Coordinate information with Engineering and multiple suppliers to manage parts orders.
Maintain accurate records of quantities and provide regular status updates.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
