Job summary

Melling-Too in Jackson, MI is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams and drive programs from planning through execution. The role focuses on coordinating schedules, budgets and stakeholder communications to ensure timely delivery of products.

You will maintain project plans, run meetings, prepare presentations, and monitor risks while upholding APQP and quality standards. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related project coordination experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Excel for managing project details.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational issues and coordination of a cross-functional program team including Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales and Quality.
• Ensure programs are executed in accordance with internal and customer APQP and quality/process requirements.
• Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
• Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
• Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Determining project changes.
• Providing administrative support as needed.
• Undertaking project tasks as required.
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
• Knowledgeable of and supports Human Resource, Quality and Safety/Environmental policies & practices.
