Responsibilities

Act as champion of assigned program APQP activities and maintain all systems (AIM, Customer Web Portals, etc.)
Monitor assigned programs ensuring that action plans, timelines, and customer requirements are met and/or exceeded by initiating schedules for APQP team meetings.
Responsible for chairing the Program Management review meetings to ensure that all departments are maintaining their portion of the Master Schedule.
Participate in reviews regarding product concept and design, offering constructive input about manufacturing feasibility and viability as well as options to achieve best in class processes and products.
Participate in regular discussions with external customers, Buyers, Design Release Engineers, SQE, Product Design Engineering, and Sales/Advanced Engineering to offer best possible solutions and ensure understanding of product performance requirements.
Generate and justify program budget and execute once approved.
Control and track assigned program's financial status – Tooling (AIM), Capital (AIM) and Manufacturing parts (AIM).
Provide sales, engineering, and technical assistance to Customers and Account Managers by providing technical and presentation support (sales calls, technical reviews, customer presentations, test data review, etc.).
Accurately prepare and deliver product costing analyses within defined timelines. Ensure all cost estimates are aligned with customer requirements, internal standards, and financial goals.
Develop and submit complete PPAPs documentation in accordance with customer deadlines and quality requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and approval of all required elements.
Analyze and manage contribution margins for products and projects, ensuring profitability targets are met. Provide financial input during the quoting and product development processes (budget).
Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings through material optimization, process enhancements, supplier negotiations, and other innovative approaches.
Lead and implement system improvements across operations, engineering, or production. Address non-conformities by identifying root causes and executing corrective and preventive actions applying lessons learned from past projects and operational challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) required.
3+ years of experience managing programs for Automotive Tier 1 is desirable.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
Ability to manage customer relationships and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and product development life cycles.
