Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking Crop Technician Interns to support field scouting, UAV observations, tissue sampling, soil probes, and agronomy diagnostics throughout the growing season.

You will travel 100% within territory (75% in fields, 25% in training) and report findings to the Ag Tech team; interns gain hands-on experience and professional development. Enrollment in an accredited college, agronomy students preferred, valid driver's license required, and access to GPS/iPad field

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions is expected.
• Must have a valid driver license, good driving record and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to use an iPad, GPS software and field equipment.
• Currently enrolled in accredited college or university; agronomy students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scouting: create scouting reports on weeds, insects, diseases, growth stages and stand counts.
• UAV flights: operate drones for aerial observations and data collection.
• Tissue sampling: collect corn or soybean tissue and prepare for testing.
• Soil moisture probing and soil sampling to monitor nutrient status.
• Field signs: organize, place, and remove field signs and reports to Ag Tech.
• 100% travel in territory; 75% in fields, 25% training/tours/events.
