Job summary

Wabash Valley Service Company is seeking a Crop Specialist to maximize profitable sales of seed, field crops and related products in Ridgway, IL. You will identify key accounts, apply field-by-field recommendations, and work with FS-branded products to meet grower needs.

The role requires a CDL with HazMat and a track record in crop inputs sales, with travel within the territory and quarterly customer events. This is a full-time exempt position in a farming-support company.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business; 2+ years related work experience preferred.
• Must maintain a valid CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.
• Be willing to work hours outside normal to meet seasonal demands.
• Experience in seed sales or crop inputs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify seed target market accounts and key prospects in the territory.
• Develop strategies to fulfill each target account’s wants with assigned products.
• Deliver products in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain CRM records and conduct customer meetings as needed.
