Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking an Application Specialist in Rushville, IL to deliver crop protection products and support sales leads with precise field applications. You will work under the Location Manager/Crop Specialist and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

You should have a high school diploma, agronomy training is a plus, and familiarity with GPS and precision agriculture. The role involves fieldwork, equipment operation, and data reporting with potential bonuses

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agronomy training is a plus.
• Experience in agricultural application preferred; agronomy experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of crop protection input products, agronomy practices, and equipment operation is preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS and precision agriculture technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mixes products and applies crop inputs to fields per label and records data.
• Maintains and repairs facilities and equipment, including sprayers and other machinery.
• Calibrates equipment to ensure accurate application rates and field conditions.
• Delivers products to customers and tracks inventory with invoices/delivery tickets.
• Collects soil samples and reports field conditions for analysis.
