Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection is seeking a Crop Protection Sales Representative for the South Dakota territory. You will drive sales, profit and market share by partnering with channel partners, producers and customers, executing the district plan and creating meaningful demand.

You will build trusted relationships, develop annual business plans, and act as a steward of the Syngenta portfolio in the field, coordinating with Agronomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Agriculture, Marketing or Science required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in agronomy, farm, or retail within crop protection or seed industries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to travel up to 75% weekly within territory.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets with channel partners and customers in the district.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the territory.
• Liaise with channel partners and retail accounts; develop annual business plans to influence demand.
• Create demand at customer level and ensure knowledge of Syngenta products.
• Collaborate with Agronomy to address field issues and manage budget within district guidelines.
