Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection invites students to join the Crop Protection Field Development Internship in Rocky Mount, NC. Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or advanced degree program in Agriculture, Biological Sciences, or another closely related field of study.
• Continued enrollment after the internship concludes (graduation date of December 2027 or later).
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors and outside normal working hours.
• Proficiency operating basic farm equipment is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge of Syngenta, crop protection, and the product development process.
• Support trialing activities such as planting, treatment application, maintenance, in-field data capture, data summarization, and hosting field tours.
• Develop understanding of collaboration with local Syngenta commercial teams (e.g., Sales, Agronomy Services).
• Learn to work independently and in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Deliver a final summary presentation of the internship project to stakeholders.
