Syngenta Crop Protection invites motivated students to join a hands-on internship in Crop Protection Field Development. You will learn about the research and development process, assist in trialing activities, and participate in field tours with sales and agronomy teams.

You will create a final project presentation and engage in regular performance discussions to support your growth. Applicants should be enrolled in Agriculture or Biological Sciences, remain enrolled after internship, and have a

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in Agriculture or Biological Sciences program.
Graduation date December 2027 or later.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Fluent in English.
Able to work outdoors and outside normal hours.
Basic farm equipment operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build knowledge of Syngenta, crop protection, and product development.
Develop understanding of Crop Protection Field Development’s role in R&D.
Support trialing activities: planting, treatment application, maintenance, in-field data capture and data summarization.
Host field tours with local Syngenta commercial teams such as Sales and Agronomy Services.
Acquire skills used to develop products and technologies.
Work independently while following safety guidelines.
Identify and pursue 2–3 personal development goals.
Manage an internship project under guidance from scientists.
Deliver a final summary presentation to stakeholders.
Participate in performance discussions with a supervisor.
