Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a skilled PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Outpatient Anesthesia Team in Winston-Salem, NC. This role offers flexible PRN scheduling and exposure to diverse case types within a large integrated health system.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Master’s or higher, NC RN licensure, and board certification, with ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program (Master’s or higher).
• Current NC RN licensure and certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CBRN/BNS as applicable).
• CPR Certification – ACLS, BLS.
• Demonstrated clinical competency within delegated privileges.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Precept Student Nurse Anesthetists when possible and mentor learners.
• Develop peri-operative care plans considering co-morbidities and age guidelines.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure safe, high-quality anesthesia care.
• Document and maintain patient records per hospital standards and confidentiality.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility and punctuality for timely patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork, with ongoing professional development.
• Support cost containment by conserving resources.
