Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Inpatient Anesthesia Team in Winston-Salem, NC. You will contribute to peri-operative anesthesia care across diverse case types.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program with a master’s degree or higher, NC RN licensure, and current CRNA certification. Expect collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduation of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, Master’s Degree or Higher Required.
• Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina with current CRNA certification/recertification.
• Current CPR Certification – ACLS, BLS.
• Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Precept Student Nurse Anesthetists; mentor and assess medical students.
• Determine appropriate patient care plan for peri-operative and anesthesia care.
• Collaborate with medical team to uphold patient safety and promote infection prevention.
• Document and maintain patient records in accordance with hospital standards.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality for timely patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism through teamwork and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to cost containment by conserving resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
