Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for the Pediatrics team at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. You will deliver anesthesia during procedures within a collaborative, mission-driven health system.

The role emphasizes patient safety, professional growth, and engagement with multidisciplinary teams across one of the nation's largest integrated health systems.

Qualifications

• Graduation of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, Master’s Degree or Higher Required.
• Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing + Currently Certified or Recertified to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board
• Current CPR Certification - ACLS, BLS
• Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during procedures.
• Ensures age/developmentally appropriate peri-operative and anesthesia care per age guidelines.
• Documents and maintains confidential records per standards.
• Maintains scheduling flexibility and readiness to provide patient care as needed.
• Demonstrates professionalism through teamwork and collaboration.
• Conserves resources to address cost containment.
