Job summary

UAB Medicine invites qualified CRNAs to join the Division of Community Anesthesia. Working at UAB St. Vincent’s East, you’ll provide anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for a variety of surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.

The role supports clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students in a collaborative, academic environment. Shifts are flexi/PRN, offering autonomy within a team of six physicians and more than nineteen CRNAs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Alabama CRNA license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
• Key responsibilities are performed under the policy and procedures of the Department of Anesthesiology.
