Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) PRN to provide anesthesia care across diverse surgical cases. The CRNA administers, monitors, and adjusts anesthetic doses for patients of all ages.

Limited to select locations based on unique workplace dynamics. The role requires vigilance, collaboration with surgeons and staff, and safeguarding patient safety throughout perioperative care.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Bachelor's
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA); ACLS within 30 days of hire or transfer; BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Interprets pre-anesthetic evaluations and lab data.
• Reviews health history and current laboratory data.
• Performs pre-induction examination and reviews proposed surgery with the patient.
• Induces and maintains general anesthesia at safe levels per guidelines.
• Monitors life support functions and ensures equipment is in working order.
