Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services across surgical procedures. You will review evaluations, monitor patients, and adjust anesthesia plans in collaboration with the surgical team.

The role emphasizes acute patient monitoring, safety checks, and timely communication with recovery staff, with on-call hours and flexible scheduling to meet departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN) required.
• CRNA with ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Less than 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Interprets pre-anesthetic evaluations and labs.
• Performs pre-induction exam and discusses plan with patient.
• Induces and maintains anesthesia per guidelines.
• Monitors life functions and records data throughout procedure.
• Terminates anesthesia and manages post-anesthetic recovery.
• Performs regional anesthesia per department guidelines.
• Communicates with recovery room staff about patient status.
