Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Burnet, TX seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to administer, monitor, and adjust anesthesia for patients from neonatal to geriatric during surgery and other procedures.

The CRNA will interpret pre-anesthetic evals, induce and maintain anesthesia, perform regional techniques, monitor vital functions, and ensure patient safety through the perioperative period, collaborating with the anesthesia team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• CRNA certification/licensure required.
• ACLS and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret pre-anesthetic evaluation and lab data.
• Induce and maintain general anesthesia per guidelines.
• Perform regional anesthesia and manage complications.
• Monitor life support and document anesthesia records.
• Provide post-anesthetic care and hand off to recovery staff.
• Communicate anesthesia plan with surgical team and patient.
