Job summary

KAISER PERMANENTE is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia services across adult and pediatric cases under medical supervision. You will handle airway management, monitor patients, and respond to emergencies in the operating room.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program, California RN license, CRNA certification, and a strong emphasis on patient safety, documentation, and teamwork within perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Experience in anesthesia for major procedures with extensive monitoring and fluid/blood management.
• Charting and documentation proficiency and equipment familiarity.
• Strong communication and professional skills within a surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Administers general and regional anesthesia under medical supervision.
• Monitors patient intraoperatively and manages emergencies as needed.
• Pre- and post-operative evaluation of patients and documentation.
• Precepts or assists student nurse anesthetists as assigned.
• Maintains equipment and adheres to department policies.
