Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the anesthesia care team. The role involves selecting and administering intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics during procedures, monitoring patient responses, and submitting postoperative reports in accordance with KP policies.

Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia evaluations, collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons, maintaining comprehensive records, and performing procedures outside the OR

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and an accredited anesthesia school by date of hire.
• California CRNA certification required at hire; RN license in California required.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire; Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients pre-operatively and consult with anesthesiologists/surgeons.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia plan during procedures.
• Maintain records of anesthetics and postoperative condition reports.
• Perform anesthesia-related procedures outside the OR per policy and physician order.
