Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (California) at hire.
• RN licensed in California with current credentials at hire.
• ACLS and BLS required at hire.
• NPI required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Selects and administers intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics as part of the anesthesia care team.
• Monitors patient vitals and responses; takes remedial action when warranted.
• Submits postoperative reports and maintains anesthetics records.
• Performs procedures outside the OR per policy and MD orders.
• Develops and implements anesthesia care plans and coordinates with supervising physicians.

Education

Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program

Graduate of an accredited school of anesthesia

High School Diploma or GED

Licensed in California as RN (and CRNA)

ACLS & BLS certification
