Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the anesthesia care team. You will administer intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics prior to and during procedures, monitor patients, and respond to changes in condition in accordance with KP policies.

The role includes documenting postoperative status, managing airway and medications, and supporting non-OR anesthesia procedures as directed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Graduate of an accredited school of anesthesia by date of hire.
• California RN license and CRNA certification required at hire.
• ACLS and BLS certifications at hire; NPI at hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia prior to and during procedures, monitors patient status, and adjusts care as needed.
• Reviews patient charts and pre-anesthesia information with the care team.
• Documents postoperative condition and maintains anesthesia records.
• Performs procedures outside the OR in accordance with KP policies and MD orders.
• Collaborates with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and post-anesthesia care staff.
