Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a physician to provide medical services and contribute to the design and delivery of high quality, cost-effective, values-based patient care.

The role requires an MD/DO (or foreign equivalent), completion of an accredited residency, and eligibility or current licensure to practice medicine in Pennsylvania. Board eligibility/certification is expected, with commitment to professional development.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Performs the day-to-day activities of the Respiratory Services Department and all of its satellites under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, concentrating in those specialty areas where certification has been obtained by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Performs patient assessment and conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures and implements appropriate modalities accordingly. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes consistent with evidence-based practice.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• AHA BLS required prior to orientation completion.
  
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Excellent communication skills preferred.
• RRT credential awarded by the NBRC preferred to start, required within 90 days of hire.
