Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic operations and cardiac catheterizations.

The successful candidate will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and hold APN CRNA certification with ACLS, BLS, and PALS, plus certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN with CRNA Specialty certified by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical and diagnostic procedures.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
