Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a CRNA to administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations.

You will also participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students, contributing to education and training within a leading academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN with CRNA Specialty according to Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
