Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases. The role includes participating in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

You must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and hold APN with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing, plus ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
APN with CRNA Specialty by Alabama Board of Nursing required.
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
