Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment.
• Proficient in documenting and maintaining patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Clinical responsibilities delineated by clinical privileges.
• Assist with collecting and evaluating patient data related to history and planned procedure.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids as per safe practice.
• Support ongoing assessment of airway and anesthesia depth to ensure patient safety.
• Complete required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, and transfer-of-care notes.
• Log incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
