Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care per clinical privileges and scope of practice.
• Collect and review data from patient medical history related to planned procedure.
• Maintain safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluids and physiologic response to ensure patient safety.
• Complete required surgical safety and anesthesia documentation, including transfer-of-care notes.
• Log incidents in the Safety Portal as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
