Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to perform preoperative assessments and manage anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist. You will evaluate anesthetic agents and monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safe emergence and addressing intraoperative needs.

The role offers a salaried position with shifts across Ottawa, Peru, Mendota, and Princeton IL, and a strong focus on patient safety and teamwork within our anesthesia department.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Education: Accredited School of Anesthesia.
• Licenses/Certifications: APN-Advanced Practice RN, BLS, ACLS.
• 1 year experience as a staff nurse.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative patient assessments and prepare tools for procedures.
• Evaluate anesthetic agents used before, during, and after procedures.

The hourly rate for this position is $145.82/hour. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist completes preoperative patient assessments and prepares and maintains necessary tools and resources for procedures. Responsible for evaluation of anesthetic agents used for patients before, during, and after procedures. Actively observe and assess patients throughout the course of procedures and ensures safe patient emergence from anesthetic. Performs supplemental anesthesia duties in situations as needed and directed by anesthesiologist.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $145.82- $145.82

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing OR Accredited School of Anesthesia Experience: 1 year experience as a staff nurse License/Certifications: APN-Advanced Practice RN BLS from American Heart Association ACLS from American Heart Association Certification by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists OR accredited CRNA program PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1-3 years of experience as a staff nurse
