Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Illinois is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to perform preoperative patient assessments, prepare and maintain equipment, and evaluate anesthetic agents before, during, and after procedures. You will actively monitor patients and ensure safe emergence under the direction of anesthesiologists.

The role offers a 40-hour week with 10, 12, or 24-hour shift options, located in Ottawa, Peru, Mendota, and Princeton IL, with a broad mix of cases and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing OR Accredited School of Anesthesia.
• Experience: 1 year experience as a staff nurse.
• Certifications: APN-Advanced Practice RN, BLS, ACLS, AANA/CRNA program accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Complete preoperative patient assessments.
• Prepare and maintain necessary tools and resources for procedures.
• Evaluate anesthetic agents used for patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Actively observe and assess patients throughout procedures.
• Ensure safe patient emergence from anesthetic.
• Perform supplemental anesthesia duties as directed by anesthesiologist.

The hourly rate for this position is $145.82/hour. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist completes preoperative patient assessments and prepares and maintains necessary tools and resources for procedures. Responsible for evaluation of anesthetic agents used for patients before, during, and after procedures. Actively observe and assess patients throughout the course of procedures and ensures safe patient emergence from anesthetic. Performs supplemental anesthesia duties in situations as needed and directed by anesthesiologist.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $145.82- $145.82

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing OR Accredited School of Anesthesia Experience: 1 year experience as a staff nurse License/Certifications: APN-Advanced Practice RN BLS from American Heart Association ACLS from American Heart Association Certification by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists OR accredited CRNA program PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1-3 years of experience as a staff nurse
