Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join an experienced team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs. The role involves completing preoperative assessments, preparing tools for procedures, and evaluating anesthetic agents before, during, and after procedures.

You will observe and assess patients throughout procedures and perform supplemental anesthesia duties as directed by the anesthesiologist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Accredited School of Anesthesia.
• 1 year experience as a staff nurse recommended.
• APN-Advanced Practice RN, BLS, ACLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative patient assessments and prepare anesthesia resources.
• Evaluate anesthetic agents before, during, and after procedures; observe patients throughout procedures.

The hourly rate for this position is $145.82/hour. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist completes preoperative patient assessments and prepares and maintains necessary tools and resources for procedures. Responsible for evaluation of anesthetic agents used for patients before, during, and after procedures. Actively observe and assess patients throughout the course of procedures and ensures safe patient emergence from anesthetic. Performs supplemental anesthesia duties in situations as needed and directed by anesthesiologist.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $145.82- $145.82

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing OR Accredited School of Anesthesia Experience: 1 year experience as a staff nurse License/Certifications: APN-Advanced Practice RN BLS from American Heart Association ACLS from American Heart Association Certification by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists OR accredited CRNA program PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1-3 years of experience as a staff nurse
