Job summary

Marshfield Medical Center is seeking a full-time CRNA to join a new anesthesia team in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The position includes 1,720 hours per year, with $200 per hour for any additional hours worked and up to $100,000 for student loan assistance or a sign-on bonus based on commitment.

There is 24-hour beeper call with a 20-minute call-response, a 1:4 call rotation, and scheduled weekly hours of 40. The role administers anesthesia and collaborates with the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required from an approved and accredited educational program in specific area of advanced practice.
• Masters degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) preferred.
• Requires current unencumbered licensure to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from the State Board of Nursing in the state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.
• CRNA certification required and maintained through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia or sedation to patients undergoing a variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures.
• Develops and conducts pre-anesthetic plan for the patient as well as writes orders before, after, and during procedures appropriately.
• Works with and collaborates with providers caring for the patient.
• Communicates with patients, family members and others on the health care team.
• Evaluates and orders diagnostic tests as needed.
• Monitors patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, using current techniques to adjust appropriately with the anesthesia plan.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree from an approved program in advanced practice

CRNA licensure
