Job summary

Sanford Health Marshfield Medical Center is seeking a competent Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join an experienced anesthesia team. The CRNA will administer anesthesia and sedation for diverse procedures, develop pre-anesthetic plans, and work closely with providers while communicating with patients and families.

The position requires an active CRNA license, NBCRNA certification, and ACLS certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an approved and accredited educational program.
• Masters degree, DNP, or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) preferred.
• Requires current unencumbered licensure to practice as a CRNA in state(s) of practice.
• CRNA certification required and maintained through NBCRNA.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia or sedation to patients undergoing a variety of procedures.
• Develops and conducts pre-anesthetic plan and writes orders.
• Collaborates with providers and communicates with patients and families.
• Monitors patients and adjusts anesthesia plan as needed.
• Accounts for age-specific needs of all patient populations.
