Job summary
ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in East Chicago, IN seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a well-established healthcare team. This full-time, permanent position (1099 also available) offers a 7:00–3:30 schedule with evening, weekend and holiday on-call rotations.
Responsibilities include pre-anesthetic assessments, anesthesia plans, airway management, and post-anesthesia care, in collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
- Current state RN license.
- Current state APRN license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the NBCRNA.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation.
- Develop anesthesia care plans based on history and surgical needs.
- Select, obtain and administer anesthetic, adjuvant and fluids.
- Manage airway and pulmonary status during anesthesia.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient response.
- Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff in a multidisciplinary team.
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement.
