Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the Division of Community Anesthesia. You will provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for a wide range of surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.

You will participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students, contributing to a high‑quality, academically oriented patient care environment at the UAB St. Vincent’s East campus northeast of Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Alabama CRNA license required.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
