The position is part-time with a rotating schedule that includes early mornings and alternating weekends. Eligible candidates must have a Nurse Anesthesia Program graduate, APN with CRNA specialty, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.
• APN with CRNA Specialty, Alabama Board of Nursing, is required.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
