Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to administer, monitor, and adjust anesthesia for patients across age groups during surgery and other procedures. The CRNA will interpret evaluations, review medical histories, perform pre-induction assessments, and ensure patient safety throughout anesthesia care.

Qualifications

• CRNA certification and active nursing licensure required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret pre-anesthetic evaluation and lab data.
• Review health history and current lab data.
• Perform pre-induction exam and discuss proposed surgery with patient.
• Induce and maintain general anesthesia per policy and physician guidance.
• Administer regional anesthesia and monitor vital signs during surgery.
• Manage anesthesia-related emergencies per department procedures.
• Document perioperative events and anesthesia record details.
