Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.

Responsibilities

• Clinical responsibilities of the CRNA are delineated by clinical privileges.
• Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data for the patient’s medical and surgical history.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice.
• Maintains ongoing assessment of airway, anesthesia depth, fluids, and physiologic response.
• Completes the surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note.
• Logs incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
